Delhi High Court has today directed its all subordinate Court to start functioning physically on alternate basis.
Manoj Jain, Registrar General of Delhi High Court has instructed all Principal District and Sessions Judges and the Principal Judge, Family Court to start physical hearing on alternate basis w.e.f. 18-01-2021.
Principal District and Sessions Judges and Principal Judges of Family Courts have been directed to prepare roster of all subordinate courts falling within their respective districts in such a manner that such Court sit physically on alternate day basis and continue to take up the matters through “Video Conferencing” on non-physical days.
It also directed to make adequate arrangement in coordination with Director General (Prison), In-Charge Lockup for production of UTPs before the physical courts w.e.f 01-02-2021 ensuring their cases be taken up on priority basis.
The order further directs Advocates, litigants and other visitors of the District Court Complexes to strictly adhere to the norms of “Social Distancing” and other Covid-19 guidelines of the Central/State Government.
